Local Development Plan
Uriah Resources believes that responsible management of the local economy is the integral part of the business and therefore we pride ourselves by making an economical difference where we do business; and We are committing ourself as part of our contribution towards local community development (major attention will be to focus on the following Local and Mafube Coal mine policy guidelines towards local economic development).
Labour
75 %of the employees will be sourced from local communities; and Unemployed graduates to be incorporated in our team as part of practical training and skills development from the surrounding communities.
Youth and Skills Development
Youth development, affording them opportunities to get drivers licence, attend leadership courses and entrepreneurial courses (2 per annum); and Skills development of the local communities in ensuring that they have relevant skills aligned with mining equipment to equip them for future opportunities (machine licensing).
Entrepreneurship
Auxiliary equipment to be sourced from local SMMEs; and Uriah will also procure basic supplies from local communities.
